My husband needs to take several pills twice a day. Remembering to do it at the right time had been an issue. But not anymore! He was apprehensive and very sceptical at the beginning. Now, he finds it really useful. There is a zero chance of his mixing up morning and evening pills as well. Yes, thumbs up and many thanks!
Admittedly my mistake, but I decided to go ahead and use mine straight away which left all my tablets with a weird woody taste. Since washing it and using it I can’t fault it. I needed an upgrade since taking more vitamins than I was previously and this hasn’t disappointed. Fits everything I need.
I bought this watch for my friend who has slept through her alarm enough times to actually lose sleep fretting about possibly doing it again. She's thrilled with it. She has set the alarm with 2 different times that she has to get up in the week including snoozes. The vibration always wakes her. She is less anxious now. Thanks.
Ordered this machine after 89 year old mum took 5 lots of medication in one go from a blister pack. Now she can only get her daily medication.2 weeks in we are now in a settled routine and life has got better for everyone involved.
This device is great. My dad has meds every 4hrs and was using his unsmart phone to remind him. Now his tremor is getting worse and he is starting to struggle to reset his alarm for the next dose. I have bought one of these and it's dead easy to set and forget. So he's running both systems at the moment and when he can no longer set his phone he will be confident and used to the watch.
The only drawback for him is the buckle on the strap as he showers every day, so I'm going to buy a spare strap and look at how I can modify it for him.
I bought this for my mum who has dementia. We had a few problems with dosset boxes, and i found this dispenser on the internet. We have jist started using it but it will stop all the problems we had.
My mother has Alzheimers and dementia and got so confused by her blister packs that she never took her tablets. I live a couple of hours away so cannot manage her medication on a daily basis so I thought I would try this product. It really is fantastic. At first Mum said no to it but I asked her to try it for a month and after a day she was over the moon with it. No more confused conversations over the phone about her medication and she now takes everything with ease everyday. I chose the solid lid so she can only see the tablets that come out on the day she needs them to avoid confusion. For anyone with memory problems it's a must have in my opinion :)
I’ve had the bog standard version of these for a few years now and it was time for her in doors to be organised. I wanted something like mine but more attractive than boring black plastic , something nice As usual I turned to Amazon but there was a problem so had to go direct to the seller. Cost a couple of bob more for P&P but I received what was wanted. Bought the four to cover the 28 turnaround of pills from the doc and all works out OK. It’s so easy now for administration of daily pills and such a pleasure to handle and no fear of the container shooting across the room as mine have done on occasions. If you’re looking for 5 Stars then there are 5 from me and 5 from her in doors.
Reminds me to take tablets always. Have not missed one.
I bought a tabtime and spare tray because my husband was either over-dosing on his Parkinson’s meds or forgetting to take them entirely. He has to take 6 timed meds a day so I was having to change the tray after only a few days at 11pm after his last meds. I decided to buy a 2nd tabtime and spare tray and split his daily meds between the 2. The first 3 doses in one timer and the second 3 in the 2nd timer. This way I only have to change trays every 9 days and at a more suitable time and, if we’re going away I can fill the extra trays and not have to take all his med boxes with us.
It is working very well. My husband can no longer overdose as he is unable to access more than the timed meds when the alarm goes off and the alarm continues until he has taken his meds from the tray.
The only thing I would like to see is a spare chart for the trays that I could write on as his meds don’t fit with the times on those supplied - the one for 3x daily says morning, noon & night which isn’t right for him.
Product was exactly what we needed for the more elderly and forgetful types. Works very well.
eine so schlechte Bedienung, vor allem da die Uhren angeblich für Parkinson-Erkrankte sein soll, habe ich noch nicht erlebt. nur um die Uhrzeit einzustellen habe ich Stunden gebraucht!!!
Excellent watch. I set it for 4 times a day for my tablet taking and it works! It fits nicely and the strap is quite soft so I hardly know it is there until it flashes with my set times. Very useful indeed.
Thank you very much. The battery lasts for several days without charging as well.
This machine really makes life with my wife, who has dementia, so much easier. I had a problem programming the alarms but customer service (Mon, Wed, Fri) sorted it out in a quick call and it's now working perfectly. Highly recommend this product. Yes, it's a bit pricey but worth every penny.
Purchased this dispenser for my parent who is diagnosed with Dementia.
After weeks of compliance problems with the medications this has been a great buy. We can manage the medications safely and timely and feel relaxed in the knowledge that its works as described.
Great idea and would recommend.
