I have two of these little wallets and I love them.
At the age of 89 I am on lots of medication. One I have to take four times per day 0800,1200,1600 and 2000. Prior to buying Tabtime I was missing approx two of the times. Now I never miss a time. Brilliant.
I have nothing negative to say! After searching for pill boxes that had enough spaces and were big enough to take 4 torpedo pills + normal ones, I saw these on a TikTok and asked where they were from. I ordered 3 as I need to take 20+ pills per day, spread out in 3 doses. These do not disappoint. Only slight downside is because of the sliding lid, if you refill on a Weds not a Mon and slide open the lid to cover Thurs - Sun, you have to put your finger over the pills on Mon & Tues to stop them falling out too. This is an easy fix though, just be sure to refill on a Mon!
I bought this after seeing it on the West Sussex Carers Support 'useful products' website and for my 92-year-old father and it has been a godsend to me as his non-domicile carer.
The McCarthy and Stone assisted living place he is in was insisting on setting up the MARS chart for his meds (more £?) but I wanted to keep his independence for when he gets over his infection so I bought this and it is fool-proof. No need to become a prescriber, no need for MARS Charts, and no more worries about him taking more than he is supposed to. This device allows any carer to prompt him to take his meds and with the optional tipping frame - the alarms (can be just a red flashing light or sound too) are auto cancelled by the action of tipping the unit and the locked covers all buttons so no chance of a wandering finger to make any changes without a key. It is flexible and can have 6 separate dosings a day. i recently had to add a second evening dosing for a week of antibiotics and it was easy to change to the am/pm disc from the Day disc and move the pills. It'll do 28 days of single daily dosing before needing replenishment and uses 2 AA batteries. This is a little pricey but it kept my Dad's independence which is amazing. Highly recommend.
Not actually used yet but ready for when relative's illness deteriorates. Will ease my mind
I bought the Droplet Hydration Reminder for my elderly father as I was concerned that he wasn’t drinking enough fluids. It is such a good idea because it really does prompt him to drink whenever the recorded messages tell him to. You can even record your own messages. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the same situation.
Works well as an alarm. Quite easy to set up and operate.
Time display is not always obvious.
Finding the right and left buttons could do with being easier.
My parents were really struggling with timed Parkinson’s meds. Tabtime has made all our lives easier knowing my dad was having his medication at the correct time. The customer service is also very helpful and sorted out an issue with delivery the next day. Recommend this product 100%.
I sleep in earplugs, owing to my husband's snoring, so I was sometimes not hearing my alarm clock. This vibrating wrist alarm solves that problem completely! I was wondering if the vibration would be sufficient to wake me but I needn't have worried. I still use the snooze facility on my alarm clock but the wrist band alerts me to remove my earplugs, so that I can hear it. (Would be good if the wrist band also had a snooze setting...) I didn't particularly find it tricky to set up and it's perfectly comfortable to wear. I've just ordered one for my sister!
Delighted with my new TabTime Pill Organiser. Very solid, nicely made and great looking on my bedside table - highly recommended...! 🙂
Purchased this for my wife who has cognitive impairment issues & was getting in a muddle withe her medication regime. A bit fiddly to set up initially but so far seems to do the job & just need some time for wife to get used to it & respond appropriately when the alarms go off. Certainly good to know that we will only need to fill the dispenser once every 14 days for her regime so saves a lot of daily fiddling with pills. Will likely buy the tipper device also as wife sometimes drops the tablets & some are quite small & roll all over the place. A bit expensive overall but if both devices continue to work well & do not break easily & give overall good service that makes life easier then it is money well spent.
Bought for my Mum who was struggling to tip tablets out of the automatic dispenser we had. This gadget works a treat, we did however need to paint the bowl and handles as she could not see the clear plastic due to her extremely poor eyesight. I would recommend this forsure.
Very discrete in looks and function and with its modern appearance looks similar to a charity band. Functions just as described and I have already recommended it to a hard of hearing friend who can no longer hear a traditional alarm clock.
This was just what was needed for my elderly mother. We could never be sure whether she had taken her tablets or even whether she had taken too many. We now have a check on exactly what she has taken and when.
